I forgot to post about this before. Last week I attended the birthday party for Amanda's daughter and got to meet a lot of friends and family. It was really nice.

I got recruited as the face painter for the party. After the kids all got their faces painted, one of them asked if he could paint my face, so I said yes... and, of course, then every kid at the party joined in. By the time they were done I was a multicolored mess! There are pictures. I'll have to post. They're very cute.

Amanda told her daughter that she was planning to marry me, and she said, "COOL!"

Before we left, her daughter gave us both a big hug. Apparently in the past when one of Amanda's ex-boyfriends met Maddy, she was shy around them, but not with me.

Kids usually seem to like me. At the restaurant if a baby is crying, I can usually just go to the table and smile at them and they stop crying. I even had one table jokingly say, "Can we hire you?" It was funny.

Anyway, I'll try to post pics as soon as I receive them.

I'm looking forward to a happy marriage. We have the license, so it's only a matter of time now.
